The AUKUS pact is set to radically reshape Australia’s Defence industry. Much has been made of our plans to acquire nuclear submarines. But what of the second pillar of AUKUS?
The NSW Defence Summit will address the strategic importance to Australia and the region of the future submarine program and look at the staffing and skilling challenges it will bring. The Summit will also assess the opportunities for Australian contractors to engage in the delivery of transformative defence capability in areas such as hypersonics, AI, Quantum technologies, electronic warfare, and undersea capabilities.
