Patient-centred care key driver to improving healthcare quality

16 Oct 2012, by Informa Insights

The National Safety & Quality Framework, released by the ACSQHC, identifies patient-centred care as a key driver to improving the safety and quality of healthcare in Australia.

Many organisations support a patient-centred approach, making it a priority to involve the patient, consumer or carer into their systems and practices. Patient-centred care has many benefits including better quality healthcare, decreased business costs, and improved patient satisfaction.

The Improving the Patient Experience Conference explores various aspects of improving patient-centred care, including practical and strategic approaches for integrating this approach into your organisation, as well as methods to improve best practice and achieve better quality outcomes.
